Though not a member of IAC (International Association of Coaches) I follow the IAC Ethical Principles and Codes of Ethics.
No matter the situation, work or play, people bring to their everyday living their spirituality and beliefs. I believe all
people have their own unique way of expressing their spirituality. I approach coaching from a moral and spiritual perspective
so in addition to following IAC’s Ethical Principles and Codes of Ethics I have added an addition Ethical Code to my
coaching practice:
Each client is a spiritual individual with his or her own beliefs and ways of being. I will always respect
another’s beliefs and customs of spiritual expression and will be accepting, open, and honored if a client desires
to share their spirituality with me.
“Our individual well-being is intimately connected both with that of all others and with the environment within which
we live. It also becomes apparent that our every action, our every deed, word, and thought, no matter how slight or inconsequential
it may seem, has an implication not only for ourselves but for all others too.”
